Rush University Medical Center (Rush) is an academic medical center in the Illinois Medical District neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It is the flagship hospital for the Rush University System for Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital in affiliation with Rush University.
Challenge
Rush and their design team are invested in having the best indoor air quality possible. The challenge is consistently to reduce healthcare-acquired conditions, particles, and typical indoor contaminants.
Solution
AtmosAir was successfully piloted at Rush. Third party testing showed AtmosAir was able to reduce airborne bacteria by 99% in various areas measured. Rush has gone on to use AtmosAir in many spaces throughout the hospital system including throughout the iconic Rush Atrium Building.
