The Bioclimatic ActiveOxTM duct mount generator is a bipolar ionization device. The generators produce synchronized bi-polar ionization of an air stream whose flow is perpendicular to the axis of the emitter pair. Thus, depending upon the volume of air, chemical and biological content, ionization is factory pre-set to CFM airflow rating by means of local control to affect density sufficient to produce the desired volumetric air purification.

The Bioclimatic ActiveOxTM ionization generator rail is designed specifically for plenum mounting. Generator rails are normally installed in the supply air side of an air handling unit following the final filter. Alternatively, they can be installed in the return plenum.

Bioclimatic Control Box
The Control Box is designed to monitor the operation of Bioclimatic ActiveOx generators by providing BMS connection and confirming power supply.
Default wiring is normally open, contact open where there is no power, and closed when there is power.

Ion Detector
The Ion Detector is designed for use with Bioclimatic ActiveOx generators such as rail and duct mount ionizers to detect ion output from 750,000 ions/cc.
The Ion Detector features LED to indicate satisfactory ion density and a dry contact closure for BMS connection.
Dry contact BMS relay will be closed when detection level is equal or above minimum sensing range of Ion Detector.
