Lehigh County Cedarbrook Senior Living, PA
Lehigh County, PA, with its seat in Allentown, manages and operates a variety of public facilities, such as a Courthouse, various detention and jail facilities, Lehigh County Airport, education facilities and senior living. Cedarbrook Allentown is the original location where ‘the county home’ was started in the 1840s. Today, Cedarbrook is an award-winning senior care facility with 473 licensed beds offering Hospice, Traditional Long-term Care, Memory Support, Respite Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing.
Challenge
Post Pandemic, Lehigh County worked with Strunk Albert Engineering in NE PA to enhance as many of their County buildings as possible with advanced indoor air purification to be better prepared for future similar events, but to also enhance their staff and occupants’ general indoor air quality. Strunk-Albert recommended AtmosAir’s bipolar ionization and specified AtmosAir in all future renovations. Cedarbrook is of multiple Lehigh County buildings that have implemented AtmosAir’s systems.
Solution
Strunk-Albert specified AtmosAir’s Bi-polar ionization systems in each AC fancoil unit installed, for a total of 24 units. In addition, they included a number of AtmosAir standalone Rainier R1 units for all their non-ducted spaces.
