McLaren invested $450 million to build a new hospital campus in partnership with MSU which focuses on research, education, and clinical services. The campus houses a 310-bed state-of-the-art hospital, cancer center, ambulatory care center, and other facilities to support health care delivery, educational opportunities, and medical research.
Challenge
McLaren and their design team were interested in having the best indoor air quality possible. The challenge is consistently to reduce healthcare-acquired conditions. In addition, the Greater Lansing facility was concerned with odors from adjacent farm fields.
Solution
AtmosAir 500 series systems were installed in all of the air handlers throughout campus to mitigate contaminants and improve indoor air quality.
