The smoke from the Canadian wildfires that drifted down to the metro area recently has been keeping Steve Levine pretty busy.
He’s the president and CEO of AtmosAir Solutions in Fairfield, a small indoor air purification and monitoring business, which has a patented technology that mitigates against indoor smoke as well as germs, viruses, mold and volatile organic compounds, or VOCs. It is also designed to be highly effective in stopping the spread of the airborne and surface coronavirus.
The company’s patented bipolar ionization tubes, added to an office or residential building’s HVAC system, proactively and continually emit ions that seek, attack and help neutralize airborne contaminants, including smoke. 
Google, Comcast, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, Empire State Realty Trust, Brookfield, CBRE Group Inc., JLL and Cushman & Wakefield are a few of the worldwide companies that have installed this technology.
