We are really excited to display AtmosSmart for the first time, the only intelligent bi polar ionization technology on the market.”

DIY Health Risks – Including your air at home?

NO ONE WANTS TO LIVE IN A HOME polluted with harmful chemicals, right?

If you’re planning to take on a home remodel or “fixer-upper” type of project, we ask if you have ever paused to think about the chemicals and contaminants you are already exposed to and breathing in inside your home?

The Healthy Living Home Guide has made it easier to choose products that won’t contribute to indoor air pollution. The online guide was prepared by the Environmental Working Group, an advocacy organization that focuses on chemicals in consumer products.

The guide looks at health risks in every room of the house and gives suggestions on what to do about them. In the bathroom, for example, caulks and adhesives can emit high concentrations of VOCs, or volatile organic compounds. Drywall in your new bedroom can damage unprotected lungs or trap moisture and mold. And houses without the proper ventilation systems can circulate such gases as radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can damage DNA and cause cancer.

Air quality is the guide’s main concern — and because people spend most of their time indoors, it makes sense to home in on the air they breathe. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the air inside homes and other buildings can be more polluted than outside air in large cities.

At AtmosAir, we strive to protect your homes and families from harmful chemicals, allergens and contaminants.  Utilizing innovative Bi-Polar Ionization technologies, AtmosAir makes it possible for consumers to refresh their indoors with healthy air.  The system features sustainable AtmosAir BPI tubes that distribute negative and positive ions that travel into our breathing space to break down allergens, bacteria and cancer-causing gaseous elements.  Once these harmful particles and VOCs are removed from our breathing range, one’s breathing environment is essentially left pollution free!
