AtmosAir Solutions opens a new office in Shanghai, China

FAIRFIELD, CT. – July 7, 2015 – AtmosAir Solutions, which markets and installs Green, clean bi-polar ionization indoor air quality devices for business, has opened a new office in Shanghai and Joe Stern has been named to oversee the new operation, according to President and CEO Steve Levine.

AtmosAir Solutions has created a new division, AtmosAir Asia, with the goal of marketing and selling its indoor air quality (IAQ) products to businesses and homes in China.

“Our entry into China is a very important milestone in AtmosAir’s global growth strategy, “said Steve Levine. “ China is a critical market where we expect to acquire a significant market share very quickly as a result of our superior technology, outstanding design, and advanced air cleaning products. Our entry reflects both our strength as one of the leading global players in the air purifying category and our confidence in the ability to meet the opportunities that the highly-evolved Chinese market offers. We are positioned well for success due to our strength of reducing pollutants and offering clean air.”

AtmosAir Asia has already installed its indoor air quality systems in the China offices of Glumac, a global engineering firm, and the National Resource Defense Council, one of the world’s leading non-profit organizations specializing in environmental advocacy.

Pollution in China remains a major problem, causing severe, and life threatening health related problems and Beijing has for many years suffered from serious air pollution. Primary sources of pollutants include exhaust emission from Beijing’s more than five million motor vehicles, coal burning in neighboring regions, dust storms from the north and local construction dust.

The average business office or commercial space can be a breeding ground for mold, dust, odors, bacteria and airborne viruses due to poor

air filtration and ventilation systems and lead to less productivity and absenteeism due to illness. AtmosAir Solutions products, installed in building heating and air conditioning systems, clean-up the air in an office building to create a more healthy work environment, reduce absenteeism and increase productivity.

Additionally, offices that installs IAQ devices also save energy and reduce costs, in many cases 25 percent less on HVAC energy bills.
